What are YOUR spiritual gifts?

Spiritual gifts are something every believer is given when they receive the gift of salvation. Just as the gift of salvation is by grace through faith, so are the spiritual gifts. Our God is so generous. He is always giving us things.

Ephesians 4:7 - Christ has generously divided out His gifts to us

It is His grace at work in our lives.

When it comes down to it, there are 3 different types of gifts that God makes available to us. Inside each of those types of gifts are several, more detailed, gifts.

The first type is Ministry. Ministry gifts are the way God works with what believers do to serve others and meet their needs.

1 Corinthians 12:5 - There are differences of administration, but the same Lord.

Many call these the APEST gifts: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Shepherd, and Teacher.

The next type is Manifestation. Manifestation gifts are the ones that people like to sensationalize. These gifts are the ways that God works through us to bring joy and fruitfulness to each of our lives.

1 Corinthians 12:7 - To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

Some of these gifts include gifts of healing, prophecy, faith, discernment, and tongues.

Finally, there are Motivational gifts. These are gifts that are given to shape how we relate to and serve others.

Romans 12:6-8 - Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

Some of these gifts include mercy, leading, giving, or encouragement.
