Executive Pastor Search - UPDATE
In 2024, Friendship began the search for an Executive Pastor to join the pastoral staff and focus on organizing and implementing our vision to bring people to Jesus and develop them into fully mature, reproducing followers. The executive pastor’s primary role will be leadership development (recruiting, training and equipping ministry leaders) and practical stewardship (running things well and getting things done).
After an extensive interview process, the elders presented Steve Doolittle as a candidate. Steve and his family visited Friendship for a weekend in February and the congregation voted to call him to this position at a Members’ Meeting on March 16, 2025. Steve and his family will be transitioning to Maryland after the conclusion of the school year.
Meet Steve Doolittle
Executive Pastor
Steve has an educational background that combines business administration and theological studies, providing a strong foundation for his diverse career in ministry and leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Divinity with a focus on Biblical Languages. Steve currently works at Ideal Impact, a for-profit company specializing in lowering energy costs for churches and schools. Steve has previously served as a Student Pastor and Adults Small Group Pastor.
