Children are our sacred trust from God
FriendshipKIDS joyfully provides a nurturing and dynamic Christian environment that will help to foster a child’s faith in Christ. We strive to have our children’s ministry mirror our church mission, to bring people to Jesus and develop them into fully mature, reproducing followers of Jesus Christ.
Let’s hear from Melissa, our FriendshipKIDS Director.
Melissa has a strong passion for seeing children discipled. As a mother of both young children and teens, she has seen the positive, life-giving effect of discipling children through both the church on Sundays and at home through the week.
When you get here, FriendshipKIDS is in the bottom level of the church. You can walk in there directly from the parking lot and check your child in with one of our friendly hosts. They will provide 2 labels. The first is to be put on the child’s back by the parent and the next is a guardian receipt. Hold on to that as you will need it to gather your children at the end of the service. If you don’t have the receipt, we start giving the child espresso and chocolate.
Our teachers are trained to handle many different special needs that your child may encounter. If you would like to preregister your child, we will do everything in our power to accommodate your child’s needs.
The Story Comes to Life….
We use the Gospel Project for our children’s ministries.
It is a Christ-centered, Chronological Bible study for children of all ages. There is also a parent app that you can get for your phone that will help you prepare your kids for the lesson and to follow up with them after.
The safety of your children is one of our priorities
We are dedicated to providing a safe environment. We have designed a system of checks, balances and video cameras that will work cohesively to protect your children and the volunteers.
SimpleChurch is our check-in system. Through this system your child will receive a name tag and you, the parent or guardian, will receive a claim tag.
